Membranes stripped

so at 9:45 today I had my membranes stripped. I am 39+4. Dr. Said I was 90% effaced and 1cm dilated.  I will be induced this upcoming Tuesday if it does not work. Any success stories? Especially at 1cm dilated? And how long after the strip did you start feeling contractions. I'm already having BH, more so than before.

All that means is your baby hasn't dropped down yet so your cervix is still high and difficult to reach. Me too! :(

So Friday night/ Saturday morning I went to the hospital for contractions and back pain bc it got so bad I couldn't sleep. They kept me, I was at 2cm and dilating slowly but enough to keep me. I went into pushing labour around 4:30-5 (which was horrible even with the epidural, they ending up giving me a local anthestic as well bc I pushed for 3ish hours! My handsome son was born at 7:55 pm Saturday. ;) I am so blessed!

Yeah it hurts me too when they check, they keep saying sorry its all the way in the back, whatever that means...

My recent appointment dr checked me and literally had me in tears crying on the exam table, she checked me once before that and it was the normal uncomfortable. Is it normal to have that much pain just being checked? All she had to say was i know and im sorry. Im happy to know im at 2cm and 60% effaced, but im scared for her to check me again.

Well nothing happened for me except a little back pain and some cramping. So I guess I'm just looking forward to being induced Tuesday.

Had mine sweeped this past mornr. Was4 cm and 70% efaced. Water broke a hour later. Now still in labor. Contractions r finally starting to get regular.

I went in today for my 39th week appt and was 3cm. Dr. Stripped my membranes at around 11am. It's now about 12 hours later and I'm having some decent contractions. Nothing regularly yet but things are definitely stirring in there.

Nothing yet. I got mine done yesterday at 4:30pm. A little cramping and concractions but not painful. I'm 39 weeks and 2days now. Also I'm 2cm and 50% thinned. Hope to see some progress soon. Hope everything goes well for you ladies.

I got mine done on Monday this week and I had cramping and contractions all that day then it stopped at night and the next day I spotted all day. Nothing yesterday or today other than some cramping. 3 cm dilated and 80-90% effaced on Monday.
