beyond furious!

So I'm 39wks pregnant and was scheduled to be induced today at 6:30pm due to high bp. I never asked to be induced and had no interest since I went into labor on my own with my last 2 babies.  Lots of rearranging work schedules, and babysitting for the other kids ALL for nothing. The hospital calls me last night, 1 day before my induction to change the time from 6:30am to 6:30pm. Okay no big deal. I call my husband who drives truck and went outta state early so he could make it back home in time for the birth of his son and I tell him they switched the time. He at this point had to work 24hrs straight no sleep just to make it back in time. The hospital calls me again 1hour before I'm scheduled to come in and says they had unexpected deliveries, no beds. To call back at 9am this morning to see if there was a ready bed. Of course they didn't have any beds at that time. Nurse says they'll call me back sometime today to come in for sure. An hour ago the nurse calls and says I can come on in. 5 seconds later the nurse calls back and apologizes. She said my doctor called her right after she told me to come to the hospital and told the nurse to inform me that my doctor is going to reschedule my induction until next week. Wow! I'm so emotional it's making me sick. I would rather labor on my own but I listened to a professional first. I seriously want to find a new doctor asap. I think her actions were very unprofessional

I seriously can't believe the nerve of some ppl. I mean we had to move mountains just to make that induction happen, only to be told no without even an explanation. Now I'm not going to be able to have my family from NY here for the birth of son and my husband most likely won't be able to be here. I live in Oklahoma. Because my doctor never mentioned that my induction could just be totally cancelled. I told everyone about the big day and made all the arrangements. My doctor apparently only does her inductions on Thursdays and my husband can't be here then so he wants me to tell my doctor she owes me to schedule an induction on a day convenient for us cuz of her cancelling last minute. It doesn't work that way I'm afraid

I can appreciate your aggrivation, got sent by ambulance to l&d cause I was dilated and then chastised by the nurse cause I was only 3cm and wasting her time... hopefully everything works out and your little love makes an appearance before a required induction, good luck to you and your family :)
