3 days ago I was having an aching feeling in my lower abdomen.. Went I went to the bathroom there was brown-red blood- about the size of a 50 cent piece. After that it turned more brown and was about the size of a dime then got smaller and smaller. I called the call-a-nurse number for our local hospital and she said if it gets worse go to the ER otherwise its probably nothing to be concerned about and that I could call my obgyn the next day to see what they wanted to do. The pain and spotting went away and the next day I felt fine. Attended a funeral and didn't call the doctor, bc I wasn't experiencing anymore. My first appointment is Wednesday and I'm about 8 weeks. I'm very nervous to go. My husband and I did have intercourse the day before and I know sometimes that can cause bleeding. Has anyone else experienced this and then everything turned out fine?

All with baby is good! Saw him/her wiggling on the screen and a healthy Lil heartbeat!

try not to worry im sure your baby is fine when i was 10 weeks i went to the bathroom and when i wiped i had like a dime size dot of bright red blood i wiped like two times after that and it dissapear i went to the dr the next day just to be safe and everything was fine the blood was not coming from the uterus but i was scared because it was bright red... Be positive and keep us updated to see how your appoinment goes on wednesday.

It was a darker red color and only when I wiped

It could just be old blood that was up in the vagina if it was just spotting or when you wiped im sure youll be fine try not to stress yourself too much is not good for the baby my dr told me that during the first trimester spotting is most of the time nothing to worry about especially if its just alittle the bad thing would be if the blood was bright red
