This is going to sound weird but eat a spoon full of mustard when you get heartburn. It really works I promise. It goes away instantly

Go to the pharmacy. You can have something stronger than the gaviscon. Or ask the doc. I take something called ranitadine. Works a treat

I had the same exact problem. I've been taking tums. They are safe for pregnancy and seem to work better than anything else. A glass a milk did usually help, but sometimes it just wasnt enough and just didn't last long enough. Mine would get so bad it'd cause me to throw up. Try to not eat fatty or greasy foods and try not to lay down until at least a couple hours after eating. Avoid any citrus drinks or sodas.

I have The same issues. The milk does help it coats ur esophagus & helps dilute the stomach acid so it doesn't burn as much. No spicy foods, or acidic fruit. Love oranges, but they had to go lol. Hope u feel better

Have a glass of milk before bed. Eat smaller meals. Raise your head at night with extra pillows. Hope it gets better
