crib, bassinette, or both??

I was kinda debating on this one. Bassinettes are more convenient but in the long run there too small. My kids had cribs but never really slept in them. What are you mommy's gonna do for babys sleeping arrangement?

I have a crib but I also have a pack n play with the attachments for a basinette. So it will be usable as the child gets older and out grows the basinette and it ready for his crib

Oh ok. Thankyou ladies. I have a pack n play, I'm just worried about it affecting the baby's spine when she lays in it. Its good for when she's older and can sit up and crawl because I may have to take her to work some days until I get daycare set up. When she gets here I wanna be prepared like I was with my other two kids.

A bassinet is used all the way til 6 months depending on child. I have neither at the moment I'm thinking of buying a bassinet and the crib later after.

Both because a bassinet was given to us, so we'll use that for a month or two if possible

We've just got a cot, I think we may be given a bassinet but I dont see the point in buying a bassinet when bub will only be in it for a few months

My husband and I are looking at the Pack n Plays that have the bassinet attachment to use until we're comfortable with putting the baby in a crib. For us, I don't find it very practical to buy one for such a short period of time.
