wrong information

Hi, last year i sadly had a still born at 32 weeks. My little boy sadly had so many things wrong with him which had no explanation. This year i have fallen pregnant again and i am currently 11 weeks and 4 days. I had my blood tests done with midwife (early due to what happened last year) they came back that my white blood cells were high (doctors told me they were very high to then be told by my midwife they werent as high as my doctors were making out!!) I had to send off a urine sample which yesterday i was told came bk fine. Only today i have had a call from my doctors to tell me they havent come back fine! Im disgusted that i keep being told different information all the time which as u can imagine is stressing me out big time. Has anyone else had any simular problems with doctors giving false information? Sorry for the long story x

Ive only had 1 so far! All the hospitals around where i live are rubbish and all have bad publicity! I have my course of antibiotics now so will start taking them from today. Hopefully when i go back everything will be back to normal x

I have a consultant who looked after me last year but my hospital is also useless! No one is ever there to talk to and my consultant is always 'busy' feel like im doing this alone to be honest. Im so scared of losing this baby. Do you think i should call the hospital tomorriw and demand i am seen so i can stress to them my worries? I have my 12 week scan next wednesday x

If i were you i would go by what the dr is saying and not the midwife you should also ask for a referral to a specialist.. I also had a stillbirth over 6 years ago so this time im going with a specialist i dont want to risk losing my baby again by going with a regular dr that sees me once a month and i am not saying what happened to me was the drs fault im saying it because a specialist monitors your pregnancy more closely.. You should really consider it since your midwife tells you one thing and your doctor another....

Thanks... only problem is it was 2 different doctors that gave me the two different results. I havent even had any symptoms of having a urine infection x

If your white cell count is high, you have an infection somewhere. You need antibiotics. UTIs can cause miscarriages. I would listen to the Drs office. I think midwives are wonderful, but it's always good to get another opinion.
