Is labor starting?

I woke up earlier then usual and just couldn't go back to sleep, i felt energetic like i was full of energy. I was about to take a shower and i had a bowel movement it felt like it was gonna be diarreah but it wasnt and i went to wipe and a huge string of mucus came out and kept coming. I already lost my mucus plug and Tuesday i was 2-3 centimeters dialted and now i feel nauseous on and off like im getting the flu and still having cramp/contraction like feelings but there bearable

I'm sorry I have to admit i LOL at that last comment because I could see myself doing that. I had a mental image of myself freaking out hahahaha.

Yeah. I understand. This is my second one and I'm worried my water will break anywhere.

Oh yeah me too. Im so scared itll just explode out while im driving or something and id freak out.

I had that done too. If this is ur first child sometimes it hurts worse. If ur really worried call ur Doctor. Just to be sure. Keep us updated. When I had my first my doc scraped mine and it hurt really bad enough I almost passed out.

Yeah i did, but not of my knowledge she didn't. I know she did a strep b test and checked my cervix and i know that hurt really bad if that could cause anything?

On ur other post u said u had some spotting. I have a question if you had a pelvic exam and if ur doc scraped the membranes? If they did sometimes it can throw u into labor. A day or even weeks later.

May just want to call the doc. They will prolly ask how far apart are the cramps.

Im 36 weeks and 5 days too! Been laying down sense havent went aqay yet

How many weeks are you? I was having the same and I'm 36 weeks + 5 and I lost my plug and I'm dilated to 2cm. I'm not having nausea though I would call the doc just to be sure. If anything drink lots of water and lay down for a bit. They told me if the cramps go away then it was false contractions.
