I imagine it would be lower. I read somewhere online that the higher the HB the better. I think that anything over 200 isn't good though. I had an ultrasound this past tuesday. I thought I was only 5 weeks and 4 days... Turns out by the size of the baby I am about 8 weeks and 4 days. With that prediction I would of been on my AF so I'm either a week more along or a week less. I am confused... but anyway. I heard the heartbeatHeart palpitations Ultrasound, normal fetus - heartbeat Ultrasound, ventricular septal defect - heartbeat and the tech said it was 176 BPM.
If I am a week more along that means I had 2 AF's and spotted for 3 days a week before my AF this month. But I guess everything looks good. I had a Beta HCG test done last monday and wednesday, my HCG levels didn't rise like the DR thought they would. I had another test done this past monday but haven't gotten the results. I go to the DR tomorrow.
Melissa,
I had a couple m/c before this pregnancy so I know the worry. Mine were also very early. They say after hearing heart beat the chances of m/c go down to like 3-5% so I think it's safe to think that you will be okay. I know it's hard after you've experienced a loss. Just take comfort in making it this far and hearing and seeing the baby's heart beat. That's a great milestone!
