BTW ... -2 is good...you still have to get to 0 and then the positives. Stations go from -4 to +4. Which is from floating above to head's coming out.
yayy! two weeks more? makes me jealous, haven't had any real contractions, just BH. hang in there girl, we've waited this long we can do a couple of weeks more, just keep taking it easy. lots of love.
Energy_train: Thats exactly what it was Tributaline. I couldn't thing of the dang name lol Yeah i feel good now, still have contractions here and there not as bad as they were. I have had lots of back pain now too. It *****. I have another check up i believe next week, we will see how that goes.
I have been taking it easy, well easier than i was. I was all over the place.
Im happy if i make it to 37 weeks. Ill be 35 weeks on Wednesday, so 2 weeks or so.
Anytime after that, come home to mommy little guy :)
I will keep all of you ladies updated, with any new news.
I'm glad everything is ok. Get lots of rest!
I feel your pain. That happened with my little guy and I went on bed rest and made it to 39 weeks. Your shot was probably tributaline. When I was in preterm labor with him they did 5 shots of trib and that still didn't work so I got admitted and got magnesium sulfate (which I wouldn't wish on my WORST enemy). They also put me on oral meds (procardia) to ward off any further contractions when I came home. I know it stinks but I'd definately do as much laying as possible as you don't want him early if at all possible! Take care!
Oh no! I am glad you and baby are doing ok! I will pray he stays in there for at LEAST 2 more weeks!
Sorry about all the stress you are going through! Take it easy! :)
Well, I am glad to hear that he isnt going to make his appearance quite yet. Did they do an ultrasound to see how big he is?? Make sure to get plenty of rest and keep us updated!! It is so crazy that we will all be giving birth next month!! I cant wait to hear everyones birth story!!
No i didnt come home with any oral meds. The only thing that my Mid wife told me was that if contractions persist, to come in again and they will give me another shot. Another round of the same medication. I am going to rest as much as possible the only thing that i really have to do is train my replacement at work. Which isnt bad, i work in an office. I feel like its the least i can do since i been working there for 4 years and they been great to me. They know i have to take it easy. I will check with my mid wife and see if she can give me anything to take orally.
Try to put yourself on bed rest as much as possible... I went into preterm labor at 28 weeks and due to strict bed rest, I have hung on and am now at 35 weeks. Stay on your left side and drink LOTS of water!!!! Did you come home with any oral meds to help with your contractions?
