is it true

I heard that if you had given birth 2 or 3 weeks early on your first pregnancy, that you'll give birth around the same time on your 2nd pregnancy. Is that true or is it just a myth? I've heard it at T.L.C  baby story and i was just curious if anyone knows about this too? please let me know thanks..

I'm like Sam.  Mine get longer.  37 with the first 40 with the second.  Not going a day over with this one and will induce if I have to.  Her u/s had her measuring 1 1/2 weeks bigger than her due date.

Every pregnancy is different and unless you have a medical condition which caused you to deliver early such as preeclampsia, HELP, etc. and you are at a high risk of having it again or do have it again then you will probably go early otherwise, if there was no medical reason, it's probably up in the air when you will go!  My friend just had a baby last week and her first was born at 37 weeks, her second had to be induced at 40 weeks 2 days, and her third came at 35 weeks so it just depends on each pregnancy.  Good luck!

Well this will be my first but I think that they monitor you closer if you have delivered early with your first....For example my friend has 3 children and with each pregnancy she delivered earlier and FASTER...like super fast...
