sore belly

Is anyone else's belly/uterus really sore?  Particularly after sleeping on my side, I wake up so sore. It really makes me scared-like I'm squishing something, or tearing something by sleeping on my side. I did mention it to the doctor, and she said to take Tylenol. I guess she misunderstood-I'm not concerned about pain relief, but about doing damage somehow.  Should I be trying to sleep in a semi-reclining position instead?

AHHH yes ladies....its not really your uterus that's sore but the ab muscles. The muscle is supporting all that additional weight. Once I started sleeping with a pillow under my belly to support it at nite it really helped alot. Full body pillows get alot of great reviews online but I did not buy one yet.  But I  know like boppy, relax the back and a few other specialty shops carry them.  And my doctor also was telling me in the middle of the night to get up slowly as to not put strain on my muscles when I get out of bed to pee. I sleep with a pillow at my back, between my knees, and under my belly.  It keeps me comfy!!!

My belly is always sore. mostly if I've been sitting a lot.

I sleep with an extra pillow between my legs and the top of it (queen sized pillow) under my belly. Works pretty well.

My belly does the same thing.  It is really sore.  I especially notice it in the morning or in the middle of the night when I go to the potty.  and then there is something in my lower stomach that hurts really bad when I am laying down.  And then I have a muscle right under my right boob that feels like it is being ripped from my ribs.  And to touch it, it feels like I have a sun burn.  Oh the fun of the last month!!

I have been getting sore also like if I bend over just a little bit it hurts really bad, and laying on my side does hurt but a pillow usually helps and now just walking is starting to hurt but my baby's head is down in my pelvis so Im sure thats the reason

Are you putting a pillow under your belly...or try to roll up a towel and put under there to give it some support.
