FHR 100 @ 6 weeks...Normal?

Hi I just joined this community mostly because of nerves and needing a little extra support. I am 6 weeks and 2 days  (I think)  I went to my first ultrasound today and the baby is in my uterus and has a steady heartbeat of 100bpm. I am an ob nurse and this still freaks me out. Is this heartbeat normal or an ominous sign. This is my third pregnancy and the baby is deperately wanted. My two other babies had higher FHR at this point. Anyone else in similar situation????

I'm not sure what the exact heartbeat should be, but I had a rate of 146 at 7 weeks and they said that was very good.  She said it gets higher as the baby grows.  Sounds like yours is about right.  Good luck.
