baby weight at 32 weeks.

I had an ultrasound today and the tech said the baby weighed 4.6 pounds I am 32 weeks and 3 days today and was wondering if that is a normal weight for this far along or if i just have a big baby. I'm due november 27th.

Everyone keeps asking me if I know the estimated weight of my baby and I have no clue I don't think I will get to have another u/s. : (

Hey Everyone,
I am due on Nov 29th and had a scary sight the other day. I went pee and there was alot of blood with clots in the toilet :( So I went to my delivery hospital and they did a really rough internal exam and saw that there was blood coming from my cervix, but it looked closed. I had another u/s and they didn't see any obvious problems. They think he weighs 4lbs 10onces.
They decided to give me four steroid injections 12hrs apart just in case he comes early and this will help with lung maturity.
I really don't think I will make it to my due date. I feel really tired lately and alot of pressure on the inside of my vagina when standing or walking. I have been put on house/bed rest and its really tough.

well for me im guessing im just about the only one who dosent know my babys weight
:0( but im gonna just about beg for an u/s on the 14th at my check up and maybe she will feel sry and let me have one more :0) well im hoping she will at least think about it..

Well, I think the 4 pound range is actually quite normal for where we're at. I had my son at 34 weeks and he was nearly 6 lbs. I'm sure this baby is getting close to that as well as he FEELS huge. I will not have another ultrasound so it will be a surprise how much he will weigh. I bet it will be the 8 lb range. We are all getting so close!! I know I am feeling it, too!

i want to say our little girl was measuring 5lbs at 32 weeks! - a big chunky girl! last sono last week at the beginning of 35 weeks she was 6 1/2lbs!  of course they can be off +/- either way. . sounds like a lot of us have very "healthy" babies in there!!! getting sooo close cant wait!- we are scheduled oct 28th (original due date nov 6th - but i am high risk and on blood thinners) they are thinhking we'll go one week earlier than that now. whoooo! : )

thanks ladies!! and yes i'm having a little girl we're naming her Olivia Grace :) I'm really nervous that its getting so close.. my doctor told me that it was an average weight for me being this far along so they are keeping my due date the same.

SarahNicole0820, yes I think 4.6 pounds is a very normal weight.  Your baby will be a healthy size.  I think we are having big babies b/c at 32 weeks (2 weeks ago) my lil' guy weighed in at 5.7 pounds!  Now he must be closing in on 6....phew!!

At 30 weeks they said my baby was weighing in at 4lbs.  I think we are having BIG babies :)  By my lmp my due date was the 27th too but after a few u/s of the baby being big they changed it to nov. 18th.  Do you know the sex?? I didn't find out. I think mine is going to be a big boy :)
