When should we start sleeping on side-left??

I am 15 weeks now, having hard time sleeping on sides, start with left but ultimately gets on right side and by morning back on my back!!! I read somewhere you should start at r 16 weeks but i thought I would start changing my habits now ,never knew it would be a challenge too! My arm just gets numb when sleep on sides......but i am still willing to make every effort for my baby......:)

im 23 weeks and still struggling to stay on my left side :(

my doc told me to start sleeping on my left side at 20 weeks...every doc is gonna say something different...

i roll onto my back a lot and then back to my left side...i worry all the time about hurting the baby but so far things have been ok...i wish i could stay on my left side but my hips start to hurt

i read somewhere that you can prop yourself up slightly with a pillow and still lay on your back...i plan on bringing this up to my doc at my next appt because im getting worried

I have been sleeping on my sides since I found out I was pregnant but like you sometimes I find myself on my back.  Try putting a body pillow or something behind you so you don't roll over.  It is so uncomfortable for me to as I normally sleep on my belly.  I was having such bad hip pain that I would not be able to sleep at night.  We just got a new memory foam mattress topper which seems to be helping.  Got a full night of sleep last night!!!!!!!
