I'm 20 years old and 16 weeks pregnant with my first child(due november 4th). I was curious as to when I might feel the baby for the first time and what it should feel like? I've read it feels like popcorn popping but that made no sense at all to me lol :-)
lol popping popcorn.. well its a diffrent feeling and youll kinda just know thats what it is.. i mean i did... they say for your first kid it could be around week 18-20 before you feel anything... but it will feel kinda like butterflys i really dunno how to explain its a uniqe feeling and you kinda jus know thats your lil baby in there movin around... then when the baby gets bigger its alot easier to tell...
I rarely feel this baby move, I'm 25 and 17 weeks. I will sometimes feel something like a quick jab....idk its really hard to explain. I agree, you kinda just know. I've probably felt movement that I thought was gas :) I had my first baby at 18 and I am pretty sure I felt movement around 16 weeks, but I was really really skinny, I was around 100 lbs, this time I was around 110 when I got pregnant so maybe I have some more padding that prevents me from feeling it early.
