first pregnancy...help

Ok I'm 39 Weeks and 3 days. I'm not dilating, no contractions, and no pains.. Anything I can do to start this process before they induce me?

Ask your docs for a membrane sweep. i was 39+2 they wanted to induce me at 39+6 but i really didn't want to force my body to do something it just wasn't ready for. well had that done the next day went on a mile walk n that night went n2 labor. If u cnt get that try lots of sex n walking
