I have been having some pain down in my vagina and some shooting pain that shoots half way up my stomach and up my back. My water has not broken and I ha bent lost my mucus plug. Should I be worried? I am 37 weeks

Lots of pains this week compared to last (in 37th week).  Some period like cramps, some pain in my vagina, my Braxton hicks practice contractions sometimes hurt now and I have more discharge.  I think this is all that slow process of my body preparing for the next couple of weeks. (Check up with my midwife due today)!

I don't think you should I've had all kinds of pains and rang the midwife and she said take painkillers and it should pass. That's all they ever say. If you are worried give you midwife a ring see what they say, can't harm.
