Should I induce?

I'm currently 38 weeks 6 days, due in 9 days. My doctor wants to induce me on Monday, so he can reserve a room in the hospital. He will be on vacation during my due date, and that's why he's suggesting I get induced. If I get induced, my daughter will be here 4 days early. Is it worth it just for convenience? Has anyone gotten induced early just because? Not sure what I should do.

Ive gotten induced with all 3 of my kids i had my 3rd baby 11 days ago and was induced 6 days before my due date ive read that thwir can be complications but thank god that wasnt my case but do expect stronger contractions that willd for sure will make you ask for the epidural

I'm in the same boat, my due date is the 24th and my Dr is on VK the 25 so she is giving us option to induce b4 she leaves, not sure what to do I'm having no signs that labor is near
