Cribs

I have to return our crib because it has huge gashes in it that are splintering now. I'm so upset!!! I just want a nice crib that will LAST.

So my question to you is:
-what crib did you buy?
-how much was it?
-where did you buy it from?

I was thinking of getting one of those cribs that turn in to a toddler bed then eventually a ful size bed so my little girl will be set on beds (just a new mattress and frame later)

I already have a changing table so I don't need that. That's not a bad price for what you're looking at.

The place where the scratches are the worst are where the teeth-guard is supposed to be (our crib didn't come with one) so my husband may just put one on there to save us stress. My cat's claws are stinking SHARP so we just need to keep them clipped weekly and keep him out. I doubt hubby is going to want to take the whole thing apart to return it. UGH!

I am still in the process of shopping around. I found a nice one at babies R us that actually comes with a changing table attached but can be detached. Chocholate color (my fav) and for around 300 dollars.
