Sick, sick, sick.....

I have been so sick and not morning sickness sick.  I have been running a fever for 2 days now.  I went to my primary care yesterday and sat for 5 hours.  I ended up walking out.  My OB said 4 me to go there.  So I have a dr appt today and i just called them and told them my fever was 101.2 she said to come in anyway.  I don't want to get anyone else sick.  other than the fever i only have a cough.  The doc yesterday told my to take Tylenol Cold and cough.  DH is on his was to hopefully find some.  I asked the doc and she said I should be taking something.  She said of ccourse I normally don't recommend taking anything till after 1st trimester.  But the fever is worst for the baby right now.  My biggest concern is the baby.   I want everything to be ok with him/her.  I want a shower so bad....but not suppose to have one...aghhh...  anyway i will try to update you ladies when i get back if I have the energy.

It's weird because on Monday I had a fever (101) and chills. I didn't take anything. I drank plenty of liquids such as apple juice, water, and I was eating oranges. Then I put on some thermal and put about 4 or 5 covers over me and starting to sweat the fever out. At night my husband would put a cold towel on my head and on my neck. Then I kept sweating. I woke up the next day and my tempt went down to 97.5. Hope this helps.
