4 Month Check Up

Its now the start of our 4 month check up's! I'm so excited to see how big everyone is getting and the new things that they are doing!

Navy is weighing 14 lbs 2 ozs and is measuring 24 1/2 inches tall. She can now giggle, roll from her tummy to back but on her back she can only get to her side not all the way over. She can sit unassisted for maybe 10 seconds. Enough time for me to say, "Yay Navy you are so smart look at you! Yay!" and then she falls over. Haha. She can also grab toys that are in front of her. I haven't started her on any cereal or anything like that yet but we will by the time she is 6 months. She is still sleeping through the night and takes maybe a 2 hour nap during the day in between little cat naps.

We took Briana for her 4 month check up and is doing great. She weighs 16.6 lbs and measures 25 inches. She is a very active baby. She is able to grab her toys and puts them in her mouth. She can roll from her back to her tummy and to her back again. I tried introducing baby cereal, but she hates it, just like she hates baby formula. She is doing good on baby juice, so I guess that's a start. Lately she has been getting too attached to me. She cries if she sees someone else hold her, even with my DH.

Anjali had her 4 mth check up yesterday. She did have a slight fever last night from her shots :(

She weighs 15 lbs 14 oz and her height is 25 3/4 inches.. She is growing great. She can turn from her tummy to her back. And when on her back she is scooting. I saw this the other day when I had her on the floor and went to the room for something and when i got back her head was feet were reversed ion directions from when I left her lol she is babbling and giggling alot when you talk to her. She can grab her binky and take it out of her mouth and put it back in. When I put her in her walker she will lean forward and play with the toysI fed her peas for the first time yesterday and she loved it! I am so proud of her :)

The only problem we have with her is "stranger anxiety" That is what the doctor called it. So I'm going to try and take her out more so she can get used to seeing new faces.

Well the doctor told us to go ahead and start her and see if she could eat them. She did great with cereal so we have been trying lots of things and she loves it. She was eating 3 10oz bottles of formula when I was giving her a bottle and that was way too much. She was only supposed to have 30 oz a day all together. So we needed to start her. Now she only has 4 4 oz bottles and the rest is breast milk.

WOW! Glad to see everyone is doing great!

My little Peri is 15.1lbs and 26 inches long. Shes lauging trying to roll. She loves to be on her tummy and sitting up. She hates when you trying and lay her down, she wants to sit up so bad. So in the morning while we are getting ready for work she is sitting up with a pillow in front and back. LOL She watches us and talks and drools. She is fussing with her big sister already. When Gia gets in her face she screams back and when Gia moves shes ok. Then when Gia goes back she screams again, its the cutest thing ever! We watched then for a good 10 minutes last night. Peri still sleeps all night, however she woke me up 30 minutes early this morning to eat. Peri barely cries and we joke that she doesnt know how to cry right, however if my boob isnt out when shes ready to eat she can cry then. LOL I've seen her move from side to side. She loves to stand up on my lap holding my hands. At her appointment the doc recommended Prune Juice to help her bowels. Also  he said to give her 4 oz of water a day. I thought they couldnt get that much water but ok. Also he said we can start Solids. I ordered my Magic Bullet so when it arrives she will have Green Beans. :D I already started her on Organic Apple Sauce. She loves it!

Our girl hasn't been in since her 3 month check up and won't go again until 6 months (unless there's a problem).  So I'm not sure what she weigh's or how tall she is.  I know she's moving solidly into 3-6 month outfits and I've even put her in a few 9 month ones that weren't TOO big on her.  She's just liker her brother and skiny!  In one feeding she'll take 5-6 oz each time, and first thing in the morning she sometimes eats 8 1/2 oz.  She only gets one fresh bottle of milk (the first morning one) as I'm at work and it's easy to just give her fresh stuff for when she wakes so we don't need to warm it up.  We haven't started her on solids yet, but by about 6 months we'll start a few.  She's not eating nearly as much as her brother did so it doesn't seem like she needs it yet.

With our son we started him on Rice Cereal at 3 months because he was eating 40+ oz a day and still acting hungry.  By 5 or 6 months we switched to Oatmeal Cereal I believe because the rice was constipating.  So I know it's not un-common for kids to start foods early, and most start before 6 months due to spitting up issues or there just big eaters.  I'm kinda glad we didn't have to deal with it with our girl yet, one more thing to buy!

She's still sleeping great at night!  (10-12 hours!!).  I see there seems to be a few babies that sleep well, that's amazing!  I can say from experience, when the baby sleeps poorly it really stinks!

She's also rolling around a lot now.  I was SO happy, when she first rolled over I was the first one to see it!  As a working mom who missed all that with my son I think it's just that much more exciting when you'r actually the first to see it!  (She could have rolled sooner, but being a mama's girl maybe she waited for just me to be around?  lol).

Well Jacob is officially 4 months old. He weighs in at a whopping 17lbs 11oz and is 25.5" tall. Haha he seems like a monster compared to what you guys are saying. Haha but he's a happy giggly little guy. He grabs my face when we play. He holds himself up with his arms and looks around a lot. He can grab toys now and roll onto his side. He eats about 6-10 ounces a few times a day. He's still sleeping from 8:30 to about 7am.

We tried cereal at two months and he ate it really well, but I didn't do it again because I just felt like he was too young. I haven't decided when I will start it. I was breastfed exclusively until I was about a year old so I don't think it will hurt him!

He's just a happy, perfect baby. I love every second I'm with him (which is ever second of every day!)

Brady will be 15 weeks this week and he's 16.5 lbs. He hasn't gained much for a while but they aren't worried at the well baby clinics. He's on the big side already! LOL he's made up for it in length at 25 3/4".
He squeals and reaches for toys and tries his hardest to get them in his mouth. He's doing so much better at tummy time but it doesn't take long for him to get tired of it. He is a total momma's boy. I leave him with DH and he usually is upset, makes it hard to get outta this house!! He wants to be with me 24/7. Wants constant attention, which is hard and I'm trying to break him from. I could strap him to me all day and he'd be happy! LOL
He has tiny half hour cat naps during the day and one longer nap. The last few days he's been sleeping almost through the night. He wakes up but will just want his pacifier and is fine for not eating!
He sometimes has gas problems. Yesterday he cried all day and I'm not used to that. He's usually quite happy. I felt so bad. I might start keeping a food diary to see if there's certain things that affect him.
He hasn't rolled around just yet but has been close and he's great to sit with support. No true laugh either, just his squeals! I cannot wait until I hear him laugh!!

Naomi was 12lbs 12 oz completely naked and 25 3/4 in long. Were gonna have to buy her a bigger car seat soon. She can giggle and reached for toys. She sits in her vibratey seat and uses her little stomach muscles to sit up. She lays on her belly like she is sky diving and hasnt quite figured out how to roll over but can roll from her back to her side then stops before she gets to her belly bc she hates being on her tummy. She eats so much its crazy. We have been giving her cereal for her reflux in her bottle and deiced to try on a spoon it took her a day to figure out how to eat off the spoon. Now she loves bananas and sweet potatoes. She likes to grab my hair already too. She goes to sleep any where between 10 to 12 and sleeps till 9 or 10. Then has a 2 to 2 1/2 hr nap once during the day. She loves to be carried around so she can look at everything. Her favorite color is blue and her favorite toy would probably be her crinkle book. She loves to hear me sing rock a bye baby and loves to talk especially first thing in the morning.
