Alergic To Powder but not liquid?

Ok ladies have another question that I need to ask you. Is it possible for a baby to be allergic to the powder formula but not to the liquid kind? Every time I try to supplement with the powder Naomi throws it all up but if I use the liquid then she keeps it down. Is it possible that she is allergic to the powder? Is that even possible. Let me know what you think or know. Tried to google it but it wasnt much help. Gonna call my nurse friend tomorrow and ask her. But would love you ladies input.

I THINK SHE COULD BE BECAUSE THEY MITE USE A DIFFRENT INGREDIENT IN THE DRY FORMULA. SHE WILL MORE THAN LIKLY GROW OUT OF THAT I WOULD JUST FEED HER THE LIQUID UNTIL SHE GOT A LITTLE OLDER AND YOU THOUGHT SHE COULD KEEP IT DOWN.

Look into mixing it. If I'm not mistaken you can mix it with really hot water and then put it in the fridge until you need it then just reheat it under hot water. I could be wrong on that. Are you pumping or just breastfeeding? I had to switch to pumping because breastfeeding wasn't working out so well after the first few days.... he got a little frustrated that I didn't let down fast enough!

I really don't think that it is possible for her to be allergic to the powder and not the liquid. I know that Marley does not even like the powder form for some reason so I have been giving her the liquid. We haven't had any incidents of her throwing up though so I consider myself very lucky (and lucky for her too). Is Naomi using the same kind of formula in both powder and liquid? It could very well be that the powder is not getting mixed well enough with the water and it isn't sitting well with her belly =)
