Being admitted for dehydration

Soooo I went to my 39 week appointment and my dr said I'm dehydrated and that I'm also 2 cm dialted so now I'm at the hospital waiting for fluids I suppose at first she said I was here for induction I immediately screamed noooooo I'm not..i"ll keep you updated

I have not been able to keep food or water down since last Sunday so when I went in for my prental appt my dr noticed I wAs pale and dehydrated so to the hospital i went they did bloodwork gave me fluids checked my dialation then sent me home and now I'm able to keep food down so far but before I left the nurse said see u back any day now lol

How do you get dehydrated like that? Just not enough water?

Well they are going to send me home eventually I'm just waiting on my bloodwork that is taking forever I just Want to go home

You're almost there! Dehydration can lead to contractions so maybe they want to moniter to see if youll go into labor! Either way keep us updated on what happens!
