Feeling the baby? Stupid Question?

Ok I know I am only 11 weeks and I am thinking I'm going crazy but I wondered if there was anyone that thought they felt the baby move as early as 11-12 weeks.  I've been doing some reading, and I know it's not common, but some women feel the baby sooner with subsequent pregnancies and I know if you are thinner you will feel them sooner (NOT my case...lol)  But, it's not constant, but i have been feeling little "bloops" here and there in that area....just wondering if it could be possible or if I'm crazy!!

Thanks for not making me feel crazy :)  I also know it wasn't gas....but who knows.  I think it's God's way of telling me things are okay in there whatever it may be!

I agree... go with your gut. I know it isn't medically sound, but medicine can't explain a lot of things.

I felt mine and I KNOW that it isn't gas. I also know that the baby implanted on the upper part of the uterus that fused to my abdominal wall. Perhaps it's the position of the baby to nerves. Some nerves are more sensitive than others.

I will be 12 weeks tomorrow and yesterday 3 times I felt something. It wasnt to strong- just a little quick flutter. I started googling it and they say some women feel the baby move earlier than others. I'm gonna go with my gut feeling and say this is my baby saying hello. :)

My doctor told me most of the "early" feelings are psychosomatic. You know you're supposed to feel something, so you do. But she also said if you think it's baby then she won't be the one to rain on your parade. I swore for a few days about a week ago I was feeling little tiny thumps then I haven't felt it since but I SWORE it was just like my son only smaller. Got all excited then realized it wasn't baby at all.

You cant feel anything yet because even though the baby is 1 1/2 inches it isn't strong enough. Most of those feelings are gas bubbles or things moving around in preparation for the baby to get bigger and need that area.

I think I feel it sometimes too, when we had my ultrasound at 9 weeks the baby was super active and I asked my midwife about "feeling the baby move early"  She basically said that 14 or 15 weeks is typically the earliest for subsequent pregnancies, and many won't feel anything until about 20 weeks.

She also told me that what I'm feeling is just things moving and stretching around.

I wish that what I was/am feeling is the baby, but I doubt it.  Everyone is different, so I'm not saying you didn't "feel" the baby, but chances are it was just something else.

Also, those that do feel things early usually start by feeling the movements when they lay on there back.
