How much movement can you feel... and can you "feel" your baby's body?

Ok so my first question: How strong are your baby's movements? Are they uncomfortable, just movements like lots of small kicks, does your baby push so hard against your stomach that it hurts?! ... My baby moves a lot, and he doesn't just kick like my daughter did, he PUSHES with his feet... HARD!!!

Second Question: When you touch your belly, can you feel your baby's body? Like his/her body parts (feet, knee, leg, etc)?? I can!!! I never felt my daughter like this! She was a good size baby, 7 lbs, but I never could feel her the way i can feel this baby!! I'm nervous, what if he's huge?!

Glad to know I'm not alone!! Well, obviously I know it's all very normal to feel the baby's movements and all! Ha ha, but my concern was that I was going to have a HUGE baby since I could feel his body parts. Like Alaysha said she can feel her baby's arms and legs sometimes. I just never felt my daughters legs, or feet poking out at random moments, only when she was moving could I feel her with my hands. With this baby- I often feel hard bumps on my stomach where his feet or legs are poking out. But... I'm going to the doctors tomorrow and HOPEFULLY he can tell me how big my baby is!!

I definitely feel this one lower than my first son, and sometimes I feel this writhing movement like he is trying to push himself out of me!  It's so weird!  I also have days when I feel him more pronounced than others, and I think it's because sometimes when his feet are facing my back, the movements are muffled more but when he's turned around...he feels like he is playing conga drums on my stomache!

My placenta is out front so even still at almost 29 weeks a lot of blows are cushioned and I've felt around before to feel something like a bodypart but am unable to because of the placenta I think.
I do notice that he will at times hug up to one side of my uterus and it looks a little lopsided! LOL

I haven't idenified the body parts just yet but I know when she is moving and its really uncomfortable. Honestly I really haven't felt my stomach while she was moving to see what was what because I was in pain and I'll stand still or stop moving myself. I feel a little sea sick when we are both moving at the same time. I know that sounds weird but it freaks me out everytime. lol

It sounds very normal to me.  Both my son and this one kick like crazy, the only difference is with my little girl I feel most of the kicks/movements lower and with my son he was mostly up higher until he dropped.  I feel limbs pushing out a lot with both my pregnancies, depending on the day, it seems in the morning my girl is hugging my spine, but by later in the day she's facing out and I get a LOT more of those strong kicks and the like when she's facing out.

I would say that your first might have had her back to you most of the time so you might not have felt it as much with her.

I moved from the cute kicking stage to the painful stage a couple weeks ago. She is constantly pushing and kicking and making huge movements that are uncomfortable. I can also feel her feet and legs and arms and sometimes have to push them back into my stomach. Its freaky.
