Miscarrage and Pregnancy the same time

Hi please help me to understand why I still pregnancy still go on even i had a miscarriage?

On 19Jan I found I was pregnant also found few blood dropped, At 21Jan Iwent to my GP for blood test and have a Ultrasound scan from vignia, the blood test result is pregnant. After 21 Jan I found I bleeding very heavy just like the period for 4 days( usually period last for 4 days). 27Jan went to my GP , the Ultrasound report: there was Cell inside but was empty then blood test again to make sure pregnancy drop , the result was low my GP told me was negative and I did the Home Pregnancy test at home the result was negative. A week after Home Pregnancy test was still negative.18Feb Home Pregnancy test was positive again.

5th May Ultrasound , the outcome was my due date is 26 October and surprise me that my start day of Pregnancy was19 Jan(15 weeks pregnancy currently).

thanks

I have just spoken to my Doctor regarding this matter, he said the pelvic ultrasound something cannot perfectly detected the process of pregnancy because the cell was so small. However, he also cannot explain to me why I still get pregnant while I was bleeding like period . I am still not sure this is the 2nd pregnancy or still the same one before I was bleeding.

My due date is October 26th too. My last menstrual period was Jan 23rd. So it makes sense. I got my positive pregnancy test on February 17th.
So you got pregnant about two weeks after you m/c.

Sounds to me like you miscarried at then got pregnant again right away. During pregnancy they count you being pregnant from 2 weeks before you actually are (because its easier to date pregnancy from the first day of your last menstral cycle). So basically you concieved around Feb 2nd. Congrats on your pregnancy! :)

It's possible that you were pregnant with twins and lost one of them.  Also, do they know for sure that you passed the baby?

When you had your ultrasound done when you were bleeding, if you weren't very far along (my guess is 4 or 5 weeks??) you wouldn't have seen much.  I've heard/read stories of women who's numbers would go down but still be pregnant (it's un-common but I've heard of it happening).

There's no way of knowing for sure unless you know you passed a baby.  I'm glad that things are currently going ok with you!
