Mucus Plug?

Has anyone lost their mucus plug? I honestly think I am passing mine. This morning I woke up and used the restroom (sorry tmi), and when I wiped there was this thick mucus on the tp. It had a brown tint in it. I ignored it, but then later I went again and and had it again, but this time I had to wipe twice to get rid of it and this time it was pink in color. Could this be the mucus plug so soon?

I just asked my midwife about this as my discharge has changed the past few weeks.  She said it's normal for most women to start loosing it when they have about 4 weeks left and during the 4 weeks slowly loose it.  Very few women actually see the whole mucus plug as it's large.  She didn't seem concerned and seemed to think it was normal to start loosing it around 34-36 weeks.

I wish some of these things we have been seeing/feeling had some indication of when we'll go into labor.  I'm just ready!

WOW! I was just thinking about this. I've been having period like tailbone cramps but its dull and I was wondering when I'll lose my mucus plug. I remember losing it 5 years ago with my last pregnancy but nothing so far. Kinda excited for ya.

I lost mine over the weekend. I was 35 weeks and 3 days. Definitely a gelatinous blob like they described in my What to Expect when you are expecting book. I am currently 1cm dialated. Good luck!

I'm 34w6d. It does look gross! I called my doctor and they told me no intercourse for a week.

Sounds like some of your mucus plug to me! It could be coming out in chunks and should look like snot (quite literally) with a little bit of blood tinged to it. I lost mine at around 30 weeks. Its normal to loose it when you start dilating. It in no way means labor is going to happen soon though since your body can regenerate it but once again it means that things are progressing in the right direction! :)

How far along are you? I've heard of women losing it at 36weeks
