Painful Breast

I have been having pain on both of my breast. The pain is on the sides of my breast. Even after I pump they feel full from where the pain is. Is this normal? I can't even touch them because they hurt so bad. I can't even get my arms too close to my breast because of the pain. I also have been having a fever, but the doctor said I had pnumonia. Could it be because of the pnumonia or is it something else?

I think it all started when I started using a double breast pump. Now I'm only getting about 2 oz every 3-4 hours. That is so not right. I went about 6 hours without pumping today and I only pumped 4 oz. I guess I have to contact them on Monday morning.

Try putting a heating pad on the sore areas for a little bit, massage, then pump.  I agree it sounds like a clogged duct.  You should contact a Gyno, or even a Lactation Specialist.

Also, anytime you pump make sure you massage very well before, and if you can during.  That can help prevent getting a clogged duct in the future.

Gyno. It might be too painful but when you pump or take a hot shower try to massage where it hurts so you can break up the milk.

Should I contact my gyno or my regular doctor? I tried pumping and showered with hot water, but it still hurts. They are hard where it hurts. It feels as if I haven't pumped in hours.

When you have respiratory problem it can cause all kinds of aches and pains. But what you are describing sounds to me like a clogged milk duct. Contact your doctor because if its not taken care of it can make you even sicker.
