Second trimester?? How are you feeling?!!

THROUGH THE FIRST TRI!!!! I feel so good now, with the exception of some cramping... but my nausea is FINALLY gone!!! I'm now 13 weeks... I thought I'd never get through it but here I am!!! I can eat what I want and I don't feel like I HAVE to eat every two hours without getting sick to my stomach. It's so nice!!!

I'm not quite out of the first trimester yet, I'll be 13 weeks on Saturday. I can't wait! I got lucky, I only had morning sickness between weeks 6-8, it started tapering off at week 7. Now that I'm getting close to second trimester, I've had a couple of nauseous days, but nothing major.
I wish this tiredness thing would go away so I can get some housework done! I commend all you ladies who are already Mommy's to lil ones for all the hard work you must have to deal with!

Hi All,

Good to hear everyone is doing well and feeling better! I too feel alot better thankfully! I just have very tender nipples which are driving me crazy but would rather put up with them then the nausea! So hows everyones weight gain??? Ive put 6lb on in total now! Everyone is telling me this normal but i have to say that its freaking me out and making me panic that im going to be the size of a whale before im due!  Oh movement too, has anyone felt the exciting little bubbles and flutters! I wasnt sure if it was just gas or me digesting but my midwife has confirmed its definetly baby and im totally sure it is now they are getting stronger and im feeling them often!

Look forward to your replies girlies xxxx

I am so excitted to have left the firs trimester behind me, i had bad morning sickness and constant headaches i am now 16wks and 3 days and feeling on top of the world without those darn headaches, i still get tired easily but my energy has picked up, I am expanding so much i hardly fit any of my clothes but don't want to spend alot on maternity ones as this is my last bub, so i bought alot of dresses that are free flowing so i can wear them after my pregnancy, my bub starting really moving tonight it's so exciting not long now untill hubby and our daughters feel those kicks.

Just entered 2nd trimester this weekend.  I do feel a little better, not as tired as I was a few weeks ago and have noticed that my headaches are fewer and farther in between.  Probably just those darn hormones again.  I am noticing my clothes getting tighter.  I put on my favorite PJs on Friday night and low and behold......they won't last but for a few more months at the most.  This is my 3rd pregnancy, but it's been 15 yrs since my last one so it's exciting all over again to experiencing all these things!

Aw...this just makes me feel so excited. I don't have any friends that are pregnant right now...so this is the closest I'll get to sharing the same things at the same times with at least someone!!! LOL I'm feeling a little sentimental at the moment!!

Hey ladies... it is really nice to be out of the first trimester (and the second one is even longer) but we have a ton of wonderful things to look forward to in the up coming weeks and does anyone else think that October is coming awfully quickly? I am feeling great and have had some minor heartburn the last few nights (even when I eat saltines) but other than that I am feeling pretty good =)

Ok... sadly enough I was WRONG... my nausea is still lingering, I was just lucky for a few days!! Last night was TERRIBLE, I was throwing up, and very nauseated, with a horrible headache... hopefully it was just last night.

I heard (and this is what my doctor goes by) that you enter the 2nd trimester the first day of the 13th week and then you enter the 3rd trimester the first day of the 27th week.

Ok, I just looked it up and I found a website that has a calculator thing and it said I'd enter trimester 2 on April 2nd...which is indeed Friday. So that'll be 12 weeks.

I'm a little confused too. I printed out a calendar that gives you a little info each day and when I turn 12 weeks it says I'm now entering the second trimester. That won't be till Friday.

Yeah!  Lucky you!  Yeah I'm a little confused on when the second trimester actually ends, some say when your 13 weeks, some when your 14 weeks.  I'll be 13 weeks on Wednesday and I'm still always exhausted, the morning sickness is still pretty bad, I really don't feel any different yet.  Although with my first it was a few weeks into the second trimester when I really started to feel better.

Lucky you! I wish I could say the same for me. Well I am doing a little better but not enough to claim Victory LOL. I guess I am one of those that will go with morning sickness til the end.
