Weight

Just curious...how much weight has everyone gained thus far? I've gained approx 15 pounds and I HATE IT!! I know that you're supposed to gain weight and all that jazz but I'm not a happy camper about it. You can't tell except for the fact that I look a bit bustier but I just feel pudgy! LOL Sorry guys...I'm having a downer day I think!

At 23 weeks 2 days I had gained 14lbs. My midwife said she wants me to gain anywhere between 15-40lbs, so I am right on track! haha

At my 20 week appt I had gained 9lbs so far. Now I'm 22wks and 4days. It seems that I have been gaining about a pound a week. I was about 11lbs heavier than I wanted to be before I got pregnant so I'm hoping to not gain so much. With my 2 daughters I gained 50 and 52 pounds. I don't want to gain near that again.

I am 24 weeks and 5 days. I have gained 16 pounds but I don't feel fat :) I think most of it went to my boobs and belly and a little to my butt (I weighed 148 before pregnancy size 9 pants but my boobs were slightly bigger than 36 DD). It's actually the growth in my boobs that is driving my crazy. I have been "above average" in the bust area since about the 8th grade and now my boobs just hurt and feel huge, I really hope they don't stay this big...it's going to be impossible to find bras, lol.

But anyways, I think the average weight gain for for 20 or so weeks is 10 to 15 lbs so don't feel bad.

I'm 21 weeks, and have gained about 15 lbs. My BB's seem to be growing along with my belly, and I think most of the weight seems to have gone to my thighs :/ I love how cute my belly is, it looks like the perfect size comparing to all the pics of people the same stage as me, but I hate all this extra weight on my thighs.

II am 25 weeks and 3 days and I haven’t gained ANYTHING! I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum which is extreme, persistent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy that may lead to dehydration. early in my pregnancy. I lost 17lbs in the first few months and just can't seem to catch back up. The Dr. says that the baby is measuring fine, so I'm not concerned, I had an appointment yesterday and I'm measuring 27" from pubic bone to top of uterus, and the little guys heart beat is very strong. I am still throwing up to this day =0( But I was like this with my first pregnancy so I should have figured it would be the same this time around lol, but this time around I've noticed that I don't eat as much as I did with my first, and I'm eating a lot of more healthier things =0) I just hope that the weight won’t sneak up on me during the last few months =0)

I am 24 weeks and I have gained 15-17 pounds so far. I had a normal BMI before pregnancy so the doctor wants me to gain about 30 pds. It seems to be all in my belly!

sameerab - Don't worry about gaining weight.  The baby takes what it needs from you and many women don't gain much weight.  A co-worker of mine lost weight after both of her pregnancies, and she's pretty skinny to begin with!  Both of her girls were healthy too.

I will be 24 weeks tomorrow and I have gained only 4 pounds after losing 14. My doctor didnt want me to gain too much any way so I guess it will be ok. I only gained 4 pounds and in about another 3 weeks it will be all the baby any way so its all good I guess.

I'll be 24 weeks on Wednesday and as of last night I've lost 2 lb overall.  I actually didn't loose any of my pregnancy weight from my first pregnancy until I had a miscarriage.  I'm working on making sure I eat healthy and not too much more than before.  I've tried to take small portions, and wait 15-30 min before going back for seconds so I know if I really am hungry still.

I am will be 21 weeks on Wen. and I have not gained any weight yet. I am 30lbs plumper than I was with DD so that probably is why I have not gained anything yet. I am sure it will sneak up on me soon though :)
