Weight Gain

Ok, so these pregnancy trackers are freaking me out. I know that I'm only seven weeks along but I've already gained two pounds. I've been trying really hard to watch what I eat because I don't want to gain all the weight like I did with my first two pregnancies (1st was almost 40lbs and 2nd was 30lbs). Well I upload my weight onto the pregnancy tracker and it says my weight gain is high. I haven't been suffering from morning sickness or food aversion so its been like any regular day when I wasn't pregnant. My question to you is, how much have you gained already? And should I be worried that my tracker says my weight gain of two pounds is high? I know this shouldn't be worrying me, but it really is.

I will be 9 weeks on thursday.  and I gained 3 and a half pounds because I was constipated and hungry all the time the first 7 weeks.  but in the last week and a half I have lost weight because I am so nauseaus and actually have had food aversion and my ibs is being mean to me..  So it can fluctuate and every one is different.  don't stress.. that is what everyone keeps telling me anyway lol...  it is hard though...

I don't think its too much. I'm losing weight right now because I don't feel so hot, but I know I'll pack it back on later.

gaining 30 and 40lbs during a pregnancy is nothing to worry about. i believe i gained 42lbs when i had my baby a few years ago and i was tiny to start off with! all of the weight came off and some more after the baby. of course it took a lot of hard work to get back to pre-pregnancy weight and everything, but i think you're doing fine. i'm not a doctor, but if it was me and i'm seven weeks along and have gained two pounds already... i wouldn't be concerned. i think our body weight fluctuates a lot. sometimes you have to think about water weight, bloatiness, extra stuff that may affect your weight. well, think of it this way... you've only gained 2 pounds in 7 weeks, that's not bad. i'm sure the weight gaining will slow down for the time being especially if you say you do watch what you eat and is aware of this weight issue. good luck and i hope you have a healthy pregnancy! :)
