first appointment

I'm 6 weeks 3 days pregnant with my first, when do I schedule my first appointment?  I don't have an OB yet, do I just go to my regular physician first and they refer me to an OB?

U need to start ur prenatal by now .. Ask ur reg doc if they will send u to an ob !! Make sure u r drinking ur prenatal vitamin !! Congratz on ur lil one

I would schedule it in a couple weeks because they wouldn't see me until I was at least 8 weeks. I chose my OB myself, well with familys help.

Okay, thanks :)  I'll just keep taking my vitamins and wait as patiently as I can till they can get me in for or first appointment! So excited!

You can look and find your own ob Dr I scheduled my first appt for next Friday!! I will be 6 weeks and 2 days they do all your blood work the first time. Most Dr's won't see you till 8 weeks, i had problems with my last though so they want to see me early. Good luck and congratulations!!!
