due date oct 29th please help

I'm 38 weeks due date October 29th first time mommy on monday I have my appointment but last appointment she was talking about enducing? Is that scary or what happens is it safe? I will find out what she says tomorrow.  Oh and last check up I was only one centimeter dilated what's the best choice or what will happen I'm so scared please help

I'm also due the 29th but my doctor is not talking about inducing me she just keep saying we won't you to make it to 40 weeks I'm ready to try something on my own to make my baby girl come I'm so miserable

I was induced Oct 20th and went in at 6am. They started me on pitocin first around 7 and upped the dosage every 30 min. At 3 I made it to 7 cm but couldn't take the pain and got an epidural. After the epidural kicked in I automatically reached a full ten so fast and had my son at 3:51pm :) just about an 8,almost 9 hour labor. It went by so fast. If u get induced and they give u pitocin, I recommend an epidural. It really wasn't bad!!!

Well I went to my appointment I have dilated 2 kind of and if my baby is not born this week then the 27th she wants me to go to the hospital to get enduced and have my baby my mom is not happy about it :/

due date the 29th & 2 cm last week having my appointment tomorrow too and nothing about enducing, but i know is only to make those contractions and yes will b painful but all normal then u going to have pain medicine and thats it, i want that now i wanna have my baby girl now!!!!!

Hey.. being induced isn't bad.. it just means that u are not dilating fast enough. It happens.. it just helps the labor progress better.. if the doctor's feel u need to be induced.. then they will have to and if there's no progress still then u'd have to go under csection.. which isnt bad either..

That's interesting I'm due a day after you and my doc hasn't talked about that yet with me and the last time I was check I was at 2cm. I also have an appointment tomorrow I'm hoping I am a little more dilated but who knows it's only been a week!
