I started my induction on the 17th with a Foley bulb then around 6 am that day got started on pitocin , contractions wasn't helping me progress and she moved out of my pelvis , so I ended up having a c section , was well worth it , she was born 7 lbs 6 oz 20 in long , and latches on very well , I only had heavy bleeding for one day and now it's only when I breast feed , but not all the time , so good luck mommy's on your deliveries , I was 39 weeks when I started my inducement :)

I'm getting induced tomorrow at 6am as well. I will be 39 weeks & 2 days. So far 2cm dilated and effacing. With my first he came a day before his due date and was 9 lbs so my ob thinks its best to induce before she gets any bigger. When I was in labor with my son they still put me on pitocin and I tried getting an epidural but it didn't work :( I had my son in six hours but tore REALLY bad. I hope I don't tear as bad this time. Good luck on your labor!!
