I'm due on October 21st and my mucous plug still hasn't come out yet I'm worried I might go past my due date

I've got four labor and deliveries under my belt. Currently due on Sunday with number five. I have NEVER lost my mucus plug or had any "bloody show" with any of my pregnancies. It all depends on a lot of things.

I had my membranes stripped on Tuesday and I've been losing my mucus plug and had my bloody show since then. I was a bit surprised considering that's never happened before. So, don't be too discouraged. Some women don't lose their mucus plug until they're well into labor.

Try getting your membranes sweeped ! I did and lost my plug the next day.

I am starting to dilate but I feel nothing is helping to get it to go faster

I never did lose my mucous plug. I was due Oct 2nd & didn't have my baby till Oct 6th.
