Should I go in?

For the past couple of days I haven't been feeling my little guys murderous kicks and punches. I can see my stomach move when i really concentrate, but the only thing i can compare it to is a lethargic kid with the flu. Just not normal. I tried eating, ice water, orange juice, I am just not getting much movement out of him these past 2 days. Should I just let them check ob him?

Dang! I would talk to your dr too about anything they think will help soften your cervix or help you dilate. I know I walked a lot to help get things going, like I would go on mile long walks to help.

So I went in, just to have him decide to start moving when we get there -_-

The doc checks him out, turns out he was moving, but was pushed up against my placenta, and is pretty chubby, so he is just low on space. But he was looking pretty darn comfy. Good news i guess

Not great news, he checked my cervix and i am not dilated AT ALL. Cervix is closed, high and tight. Said that contractions were registering, but i probably will not be in labor for another 2 WEEKS! I just can't take it

I would go in. If the movement slows down that much with trying everything, I would be worried.

My son was like that and I went in.. Turned out his growth had stopped but now he's a recovering 17day old baby! Hopefully everything is okay with your bub!
