Not in the first trimester. After the 2nd trimester it is actually dangerous to sleep flat on your back because your uterus is way heavier than normal & can impede blood flow to the baby. After 1st trimester try to transition to on your side with one leg up, they make pregnancy pillows to help with positioning. I have slept on my stomach my whole life & started doing some reading in my pregnancy books about this. Hope this helps, also speak with your doc about it.
