Small?

I'm 30w6d...went to the doc yesterday and my weight is fine and my stomach is measuring fine but everyone says I look so small...i have a feeling I am going to have a small baby since both my husband and I were 6lbs 13 oz...when I mentioned to the doctor my concerns she scheduled a sono for 2 weeks from now to measure the baby...i hope everything is ok...any one else feeling this way ?

I wouldn't worry. Small doesn't mean unhealthy & honestly 6lbs 13oz isn't so small. Jus a few Oz's short of 7lbs which is normalt. My son was small at 5lbs 9oz & he was full term when I had him. Sum babies will jus be on the smaller side & yes sometimes ur frame can have something to do with it. I am 5'4 was barely 100lbs when I got pregnant & gained over 50lbs. This pregnancy I started at a healthy weight of 129 & I'm gaining well,24lbs so far at 30weeks. Only thing is I have stretch marks & I'm not even gaining too much. LOL I go figure I get them with the smaller pregnancy.

I'm 32 weeks at 30 I barely showed. I didn't start showing a small little belly til 25 weeks.  N my baby is almost 3 weeks bigger then my dates. Now at 32 suddenly my belly grew but it's still not that big. N I have gained 15 lbs. Just on my belly no where else. So it doesn't necessarily mean that ur baby is small. But if u and ur hunny r small ppl then of course u will have a small baby cuz of your genes. But with me I'm small but my husband is tall big framed. So baby is big.

Don't worry. Small doesn't mean unhealthy. You just said you and your husband were small babies. Keep in mind final U/S weight estimates can be up to 2lbs off.

I have lost 3.5 lbs since my 27th week and was concerend as you are. My said i was meassuring perfect but ordered a scan just for my mental peace. All the meassurements turned out to be perfect. And baby was weighing 2.6 lbs at 29 weeks. My ob said as long as baby is growing well, my weight or how i look doesnt matter. :) so dont stress out with others opinion. Just go with ur gut feelings. I am sure you are fine. But honestly i too keep worrying at times. Mommy habbits i guess..

I wouldn't worry too much.. My first gave us a scare as docs said she had 'stopped growing', but then had a massive growth spurt later on lol my daughter was also 16bs 14Oz and she wasn't considered a small baby :)

I think it depends on your frame and build as well tbh, try not to worry x
