Got a call from back home, my grandmother who raised me is in the hospital. I'm 36 weeks 3 days along and I'm scared to travel. Going to be a quick 8hr trip, not really feeling any signs of labor just some contractions on and off. Been going back and forth on wither it's a good idea to go, might be my last time seeing my grandmother...

Thanks ladies, I decided to go and everything was OK. Except the drive, roads were horrible. I'm glad that that I went and got to see my grandmother,  hard part was leaving.

You should see your Grandma, I know its hard, but also take with You Labour bags, and check all the hospitals which are there. In any case. Also, I think that everything happens for a reason and You never know what are Gods plans. Maybe its for the best even if your baby comes in your Grandmas town. Maybe its for her to see her grandgrandchild for at least one time. I think You should try to calm down (I know its hard in such a conditions) and just trust God. Good luck!:)❤

I am almost 38 weeks.. I just came back from a week visit from Florida... We drove from Texas. I was fine.. just be prepared just in case but I think seeing your grandma is worth the trip

I'm 37 weeks today and last wknd I went to Seattle a 5 hr trip from home and I had to check with my midwife first. Even if you are careful anything can happen. I was sent with my medical records in case a situation arose. Obviously I was fine lol but I would check with your doctor first to be safe. I was also told no traveling after last wknd

I went on a 5 hour trip one way at 36 weeks nothing as important as this. But to a football game for our anniversary and was perfectly fine. But I did have my cervical exam 2 days b4 the trip n was completely close n no contractions ay all. So we went n drove back after the game. Was an all day thing but was fine. I would go just be careful n just go and come back just in case. Especially cuz it might stress u cuz of the significance.

Call your doctor and then find out where the closest hospitals during the trip just to be sure
