I've gained 40 lbs at 25 weeks! My midwife UA not concerned at all bc I'm eating healthy and stating active. 13 lbs is not too much. The avg weight gain for pregnancy is 25 lbs. It will come off after the baby. Don't stress :)

I'm 26+6 weeks and have gained 20 lbs already. I was 125 pre-pregnancy. My doctor has not showed any signs of concern on my weight. My nurse always tells me I'm so small every time she gets my weight. I think as long as your eating healthy and getting proper work out you should be fine.

Just make sure you're eating all the right foods and having healthy snacks such as nuts, fruits etc. It's poor diet related weight gain that's a big concern as it can affect the baby. Doctors work on guidelines set out. If this were the1950's your doctor would be advising that 15 pounds is all you should gain over your entire pregnancy!!! Now the guidelines are 25-35. If you're worried go to a nutritionist and get your diet assessed. And make sure you get some gentle exercise every day.

I am almost 26w and lost 10lbs in the first trimester and have since gained 16.  So my net gain is only 6lbs.  My doctor said she only wants me to gain 25lbs total.

I'm 25 weeks and I'm 3 pounds back and forward (lose them n gain them) so idk if it's a good thing or bad but my Dr hasn't say anything .... don't worry about the weight during pregnancy as long as it's healthy food you eating

It depends on how much you weighed pre pregnancy. If you were smaller and had a lower BMI you can gain more. If you were over weight they say between 15-25 and obese only like 10-15. I say either way who cares as long as the baby is healthy. I've gained 20 and I'm 25 weeks. It's just harder to lose after birtn.

I lost 10 initially and have gained that 10 back plus another 10. Doc didn't seemed concerned. 13 lbs isn't bad at all. Keep on eating mama!
