Heavy bleeding 10 weeks pregnant

I'm 20 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I'm a little confused. I had very heavy bleeding not light not moderate it was very very heavy. I went to the emergency room because I knew I was miscarrying now I know they can't do anything for the miscarriage I was concerned about the amount of blood I was losing. They gave me an ultrasound and to my surprise baby was fine heartbeat was great everything looked good. So they sent me home and told me even tho baby looks good and my cervix is closed I'm miscarrying my baby. Went home devastated. Fast forward 3 days later still heavy bleeding I have been monitoring what was coming out of my baby as I was not gonna flush my poor baby. But all that came out was about quarter sized blood clots or smaller. Nothing else. Well I got real dizzy and about passed out on the 3rd day so I went to an ear that was a little further away because the one where I live told me not to come back for bleeding. they gave me fluids as I had lost a lot of blood. They couldn't do ultrasound but at the time my cervix was still closed. So I went home and remained on bed rest on the 4th day the bleeding stopped and today is the 5th day and I just have pale red or pink discharge. I am so confused as to why I'm bleeding has anyone had this happen and can give me any advice. I tried to get into doctor early but my ob said since I was probably miscarrying he didn't wanna see me any earlier. Please any advice will help and Thank you

I'm 11weeks +1 and I've had a lot of bleeding off and on since about 6 weeks finally about 2weeks ago my OB was able to see a hematoma on the ultra sound and said that is what is causing my bleeding. I'm pregnant with twins and both are still healthy and growing but it is super scary with the bleeding. I hope everything turns out ok for you.

You need a new doctor. I had a lot of blood with my 2nd child. They were all so sure that i was having a miscarriage, when they did the ultra sound they saw a baby with a weak heartbeat. He's almost 2 now. Very healthy. Truthfully, blood doesn't always mean a miscarriage. You need to get looked at. Find a new dr let them know what's going .

I'm so sorry. The baby would be very small at that point so it could be hard to tell amongst the blood clots. I hope your doctor can see you soon and will be more helpful.
