How to tell teenagers that you are having another baby.

Hi, I'm 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant. In about 2 weeks after my dating scan, I'm going to tell my 3 kids who are 13, 15 and 19 that are going to be brothers and sister again. How can I tell them the news and hopefully avoid to much drama?

She is starting counselling next week. We are waiting to  hear from a caseworker. It's been a long wait for help, since October last year.

I think the big picture here is it matters a lot "how" you break the news to a small child,  but with a teenager the method of telling them news isn't all that relevant.  An aggressive,  tantrumming teenager isn't going to have her perception of your pregnancy changed by the method you deliver the news.

Is she getting psychiatric care?

Hi, my daughter is going through a very stressful, emotional time at the moment. She has tantrums, and can become aaggressive. We don't know how she will take the news. We wanted to find a way to tell them that was positive and happy.
