Mom?

I just found out today that I was 5 weeks pregnant and I sent my mother a picture of the paper confirming it from the Dr. And she is not so thrilled. My fiance and I are beyond excited but we would like to have her support. What should I do? She just a still birth a year go...  Is that maybe why? I'm the oldest of 5 having my own baby... What do I do??

You didn't let her down at all. She's probably going through a lot emotionally and doesn't know how to process it. She will get there. Just don't push too much on her in a short amount of time.

It could be the reason, there could be plenty of reasons. But like said above, give her some space. She will come around. Sometimes people need some time to process and then get excited. A friend of mine, her mom was not excited about the pregnancy but once baby came she is full on grandma mode, and super excited.

I hope so. I just want her love and support like I used to.. I just feel like I've let her down somehow

Just give her ..her space for now ..hopefully she will come around
