So as most of you know I have had horrible morning sickness the last month. Well I don't want to jinx myself, but the last 5 or 6 days it's getting better. I still feel really nausious, but I don't have to take the zofranZofran Zofran odt. I don't know if the morning sickness is really getting better or if I'm getting better at dealing with it. I get up early and eat a small meal then go back to bed that takes care of the mornings. Then I continue to eat small meals every 2 to 3 hours and I'm fine. The only thing I still have trouble with is dinner. I still can't eat a normalNormal saline flush dinner, but I don't puke.
Anyone else getting better and keeping the vomit at bay?
Amen on the second trimester! I really have noticed some big changes just over the last two weeks. It's giving me hope that things are only going to get better.
Sam here Michele..I am still very nauseous and although the vomiting sn't as bad as before, it's stll there..I can't wait to see what the 2nd tri brings about,,,I pray the rest of my pregnancy is uneventful!!!
I haven't needed to take my ZofranZofran Zofran odt at it's schedualled time in about three days unless I start to feel nausas and in which case I tend to take then. It's usually at night and I'm not sure why, so I try and eat as much as I can during the day so I wont be as hungry at night which wont make me so nausas. Sometimes it works, others... not to so well. Any who... Congrats to everyone because we are defintally almost there!!! Hang in there, it can only get better...
I am not out of the woods yet for it was only last week that i started experiencing such, i have notice that i am able to relax during the day now, but when 5 o'clock reaches mg!!!! that's it whole night even to settle in bed is a war. i thank GOD though that i don't throw up. Can wait to pass this stage, it is just that every week there is a new unwanted feelings.
I only actually experienced bad morning sickness for about 2.5 wks, probably about 3 wks ago that ended. I have only vomitted once since then, it was random as red bananas. I still can't eat real supper, either because whatever we have repulses me, or I just feel nauseous. I'm hoping that soon that'll pass so that I can go back to eating what I like to eat for supper.. lately I've had to sub with lunch and breakfast foods. Which was okay at first, but it's getting old. I miss normal supper :(
I have been incredibly moody though. I go from being GIDDY to wanting to just cry my eyes out.
I did begin to feel a bit better some days back. but i feel v weak in the morning, n nausea.
throughout the day is ok ok...am not as hungry as i was earlier...i was hoggin like a pig.
But just like Nicmom...as soon as its 5pm, thatz it! I start feeling nausea and am hungry but cannot eat. Dinner is a BIG no-no. If i eat..thatz it..cant sleep at all. Its more like evening sickness. I look dead and sick and my husband hates it. he keeps on saying, try and feel energetic, u r not sick just pregnant! big deal..wish men also would get pregnant.
Truly i haven been able to "enjoy" pregnacy, each day is a fight, as though im gettin sicker. Do u galz also feel like this?
Ladies, one thing I do at night, is go to sleep with a Tums in my mouth. I hate Tums, but I get the peppermint ones and just put it on the side of my mouth. Once I am still for a little while and have the Tums in my mouth, it allows me to go to sleep. Now first thing in the morning is another story......But you might want to try that at night. They will also help with heartburn if you are experiencing that already. Plus, Tums are a great source of calcium, which of course, is very good for both you and your baby :)
Wow that's funny I have the same problem. I've got it under control all day long. I don't take the zofran anymore, but every day at 5 pm I feel horrible. I don't puke, but I don't eat dinner. Then around 9 I can sneak in a small snack. I wonder why it peaks around dinner. I've tried eating lunch late having more snacks in the day and nothing works I just can't eat dinner.
My m/s seems to be getting worse..I am back to the point where I can't keep anything down..I am feeling horrible..emptying my somach until nothing but green stuff comes out...I pray this ends soon...Baby HArley is going to get a nice little pop on the tushie when he/she gets here...LOL
