not so good balance still?

Fynn will be one on the 27th and he still has pretty bad balance, he can walk when he is holding onto things and he can walk when he hold his hands, however he looks like a drunk baby, when he tries to stand up he cannot for more than a couple seconds and mostly he still isnt even trying, just going down onto his knees, is this still normal at 1 year?

Completely normal, especially for boys.  My Finn is doing the exact same thing.  Most girls are walking independently by 12 months but the average for boys is more like 14 months.  He'll get there in time - in the meantime enjoy not having to chase after him as much.  I am in no hurry for Finn to start walking; although I am a little tired of walking him around nonstop on my fingers.

my girl is not walking yet either and im not too worried about it because she was 2 months premature and the ped said it takes up to 2 years for premature babies to catch up....she is holding her own balance but i call her a lazy walker....she would rather crawl then walk anywhere

in her walker she can run the entire house and turn it completely around....she just needs the confidence....

i would say its completely normal...babies will walk when they are ready

I wouldn't worry at ALL.  My Lily JUST started to pull herself up a few weeks ago. She can crawl like a champ, but will only stand a second or two without holding on to something.
