im 28 weeks now, and had the glucose test, i drank it at around 9 45 in the car on the way to my ob. well it was storming pretty badly and my drivers side window does not roll up, so i was getting rained on, no biggie, then it started raining so bad that everyone on the highway pulled over to the side! and here i am on a dealine determined NOT to have to retake my test some other time, so i pull over for 5 minutes then drive slowly the rest of the way, then right as i reach the first exit ramp into town.... my car starts bucking and dying! luckily my fathers mechanic shop is in that town and i milked my car to it, but i had about 10 minutes before id have no more time to get blood drawn. I run into the shop and yell dad! car... BAD! get laughed at and he runs out and i make him hurry lol.
he ended up being ablew to fix it in like 2 minutes and i sped to the drs office and arrived with like a minute to go! hahah
got my test and its negative and no more orange stuff for me! woot!

Hi everyone... I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow and I've gained about 20 pounds.  So far I'm absolutely LOVING this experience.  This is my first... and I love how much she moves around and how I can actually see her tumbling around in there (with the occassional elbow/head/butt poking out to see/feel).  I'm REALLY showing... since I was around 16 weeks, I've had women comment on how big I am, but it's all belly!  From behind you can't even tell that I'm pregnant.  At 28 weeks we had an u/s done that showed her weighing in at 3 lbs 11 ozs already!!  So that might have something to do with why I'm sticking out to so much ... she's already a big baby.  The doctor even said that if she continues to grow this "rapidly" I may be looking at a slightly earlier delivery and/or a c-section (in case we're looking at a 10-12 lb baby)!  But at least she's a healthy (big) girl.  =)

hi ladies.
I love reading about where everyone is at!  I'm 28.5 weeks now and can't believe its going so quickly. I've been feeling pretty great. I had a nasty vericose vein earlier on that has seemed to disappear so that makes me much more comfortable. The baby moves around like crazy some days and other days she's mellow. I've been ok energy wise but the hormones have definitely kicked in. I'm crying at the drop of a hat and or lashing out at the silliest things! I'm loving my belly and my husband is too! Glad to hear u r all doing well!

Hi Ladies :)

Well, I am now 28w 1d and I have gained 8lbs. so far...I have to do my glucose test either today or tomorrow and I am totally dreading it. I do not do well with the nasty drink they give you :(
I'm also getting back into the tired phase and take morning naps now to help with that....and I have to say that Tums are one of my best friends right now...lol..I keep a small contianer of them in my purse and a big bottle next to my bed.
Our little man is kicking up a storm lately, and he doesn't seem to realize that when I want to go to sleep is not the time to have himself a party in my stomach...lol
My kids are pretty excited to meet their baby brother and hubby is very much looking forward to the baby being born...

I will be 26 weeks in 2 days. I am still not really feeling pregnant much. My belly is big now, and I do look pregnant, but I am not at the point yet where I feel the baby all the time. I just feel him sporadically throughout the day. I am hoping that this is normal at this time. I wish that I could feel him all the time like you ladies have said. That would make me so happy. At 23 weeks I had gained 22 lbs, which is not good. I probably gained more now. I have heartburn once in a while, but it's not too bad. Overall, I am feeling well. I am just worried about him not kicking a lot. Maybe he will just be a calm baby.

I'm 29 weeks now and I have gained 22lbs. I had my one hour glucose test today and passed. No anemia or hypertension. I'm almost 46 so I am relieved and surprised that everything is going so well. My ultrasound today showed that she is measuring a week ahead and weighs 3 lbs. My OB told me told that they will not let me go past 38 1/2 weeks due to my age. Yea! I delivered my last 2 at 42 and 41 weeks, I can't imagine going that long this time! I'm treasuring each kick and punch because I know it will be over soon. I'm so glad to read about other pregnant Mom's of the same month.

I'm 26 weeks today. As of 06/02 I was up 13lbs but I've been eating like crazy so I don't even want to know how much I've gained! I failed the 1 hour glucose test so had to take the 3 hour (it sucked!) but I passed it, other then that I can't complain much. I have had some hip pain but a warm bath before bed seems to help. No heartburn yet. (knock on wood)

...I better quit goofin around and get the baby room ready.

Hello everyone.  Yesterday I reached my 27th week, which in some sites, it says I'm in my third trimester I guess.  I agree with you girls.  Time has flown by and I'm starting to get a little nervous, but I can't wait to see my little boy.  It's my first child so the experience has been great so far.  He's kicking, punching and tumbling away.  I'm not tired yet, no heartburn, just the backaches and slight swelling when it gets hot.  As for my weight, I went yesterday for my checkup and they told me I've gained ten pounds, but the scale at my house states 9lbs.  I guess it's somewhere around there.  I'm glad everyone is doing well.  Take care.

I am 27 weeks tomorrow. i cant believe how fast it went by. it seems like i just found out i was pregnant!! this pregnancy has been great! ive had my ups and downs, but i love it and wouldn't change a thing!!
i am at the extremely tired stage again!! i have to fight to keep my eyes open. i am also battling with heartburn. it is absolutely awful... it keeps me up at night. i havent taken Zantac yet, i was trying to refrain from taking it.... but i gotta do something about this soon! my lower back has been aching especially at night, so i always lay on a heating pad for about 30 minutes before i go to sleep.
the baby is so active, my daughter loves to feel the baby moving around! it is so exciting for her! she is getting anxious and doesnt understand why its taking so long for her brother/sister to come out!! lol its hard to make a 4 year old understand.
ive gained 17 pounds so far, i seem to be fluctuating within about 2-3 pounds.
my emotions have be pretty dramatic this pregnancy. i find myself being very impatient and having huge road rage. im having trouble relaxing and not sweating the small stuff.... i think i need a holiday!! lol

I am sooo excited! 26 weeks today, which means I'm almost in the 3rd trimester. YAY! That much closer to meeting our little one. :) I've started getting REALLY tired again... I can hardly keep my eyes open sometimes at work, and as soon as I get home I want to go to bed. Zzzzz.... I'm still struggling w/severe heartburn, I have to take Zantac or else it's unbearable. My lower back and hips have been hurting, which makes it hard to sleep and hard to sit at my desk at work... and I've been having mild Braxton Hicks occassionally. But all in all I'm feeling good and have no complaints, I'm so grateful to have made it this far and that our little guy is healthy. He's kicking like crazy all the time now, it's so much fun! I never get tired of feeling him moving around in there, and watching my belly grow - he is ALLLL out front! I don't even look pregnant from the back. Hows everyone else????
