Latrice414...you didn't start feeling sick till week 7 huh? I keep worring myself to death that because I don't feel sick. when I had my daughter I remeber feeling like **** for the first trimester...and unbelievably tired. I've actually felt REALLY good so far considering. Keep waiting for it to hit!
Don't need any new cloths yet, BUT, I happened to be in Kohls the other day and they had a ton of summer maternity cloths on sale racks and then everything was an additional 80% off so I ended up getting a bunch of really nice stuff. I got 10 shirts, 2 shorts, and 2 skirts for $52!! I know they say it's bad luck to buy stuff to early but, I've followed that rule before and had a bad ending anyways...so whatever!

I ordered a bella band off of ebay for really cheap.

I think i am gaining weight because I haven't been sick very much.  But I am eating all the time to provide for two babies.

Going into my 8th week now which is when the babies start to grow grow grow ~ and they change in size tremendously over the next 4 weeks.  From 1 gram now to 20 grams (i think) by week 12.

I feel stretchy pains in my abdomen pretty regularly now.

My dr. told me at 8 weeks they change from "embryo's" to "fetuses."  That's so exciting!   Grow babies, GROW!

Hope our September MOMMIES are all doing GREAT!

Well, my clothes are still fitting just fine, but I think it's because I have been so very sick.  I know with my 3rd child, I didn't gain any weight until I was 16 weeks pregnant!!  And that was because I was just so very sick with her.....

I do love Target Maternity pants though.  They are very comfy :)

Well, I tried on putting my blue jeans the other day and I can't button them up either! I feel awful...they are a size 8 and I just bought them in Nov which *****.

My regular work suits still fit, the panths are a little snug on the waist but I can still fit them. I noticed that I no longer can wear belts b/c I feel like I'm running out of breath...
:(

As far as buying new clothes, well I'm somewhat lucky b/c my sister is currently prego and she is giving me all of her clothes! She's got a pretty good taste too and her maternity clothes are pretty stylish, lol, so I'll be wearing some of her left over clothes. She is due in early March...

A belly band (aka Bella band) is a band that helps you keep your trousers up.  So you can still wear your pre-maternity pants for a while - unbuttoned. Or if you dont quite fit into your maternity pants you can wear those now and it will hold it up.  Check out this link it has a picture:

My normal clothes still fit quite okay. I have some pants that it won't be long before I won't be wearing them anymore, and my tight shirts make me feel a little fat, because I've been eating more and that weight has gone right to my belly! So right now I'm sticking to looser clothes because they're simply more comfortable, but all my clothes still fit.

I am getting ready to invest in 3-4 pairs of jogging pants, because I only have 1 pair, and the band on them is not stretchy enough, and I have really been getting tired of jeans. I'm ready for something more comfortable!

I have a double baby belly so yea it's becoming more obvious.  At least to me it is.  I bought a great pair of maternity pants for work  - from TARGET.  They have these wonderful adjustable elastic bands inside the waist.  Perfect!  And thank goodness i have lots of elastic waist band dress pants.

I'm not gonna be able to wear my blue jeans much longer though.  And not quite ready for maternity blue jeans. But I guess I better get ready.

Latrice, yea those joggers are great!  I don't know if you all have a "Ross" store near you but they have some great and cheap maternity clothes.

NicMom, I'm gonna have to get me a belly band.  Sounds great.

My clothes are still fitting, thank goodness. I am way too tall to find long enough maternity pants this far along...and not yet that desprate. (Almost 5' 11). I can't buy pants from Target... :( Sad.

Good luck ladies!

I bought a pair of maternity pants, but I just don't really have the belly to hold them up yet. I have to say they are the most comfortable pants ever ;-)

I use my bella band everyday. Target online has a generic and so does motherhood maternity stores. They will set you back around $16.00, but it holds up your unbuttoned pants. Oh the trick is to pull it up and then fold it back over in half.

I am noticing that my pants are starting to get a little snug around the waist, but I haven't bought maternity clothes yet...

Radhika - I have read that at 8 weeks this is normal...right about now, your uterus is about the size as an orange...more than twice than normal..so although people can't see you are pregnant...you can feel it!!

I know I now have trouble slleping on my stomach...I get so uncomfortable...

Hi Latrice!

I bought some maternity pants from Target last week. My looser normal pants still fit fine, but they're uncomfortable buttoned up when I'm sitting down (which is most of the day for my job). The maternity pants are so comfortable that I want to keep wearing them long after the pregnancy. As for shirts, I have a lot of loose-fitting shirts anyway, so I may not need any actual maternity shirts for quite awhile. Good excuse to go shopping, though!

Have fun! We have a snow day today!!

I think I might be one of the lucky few, I feel tightening around my waste but I still fit comfortably into my normal clothes.  Though, I might add, in a week or two I would be needing a bella band.
