Morning sickness going away?

So as most of you know I have had horrible morning sickness the last month. Well I don't want to jinx myself, but the last 5 or 6 days it's getting better. I still feel really nausious, but I don't have to take the zofran. I don't know if the morning sickness is really getting better or if I'm getting better at dealing with it. I get up early and eat a small meal then go back to bed that takes care of the mornings. Then I continue to eat small meals every 2 to 3 hours and I'm fine. The only thing I still have trouble with is dinner. I still can't eat a normal dinner, but I don't puke.
Anyone else getting better and keeping the vomit at bay?

I am 10 weeks with terrible morning sickness and all sorts of gastric problems but no vomiting.  I just started getting headache on top of it all.  I have a pre-planned 3 weeks trip to Asia in 2.5 weeks, it's all pre-paid and we plan to go.  What are my chances of feeling better by then? Are any of these symptoms not going away by the 2nd trimester?

Wow that's funny I have the same problem. I've got it under control all day long. I don't take the zofran anymore, but every day at 5 pm I feel horrible. I don't puke, but I don't eat dinner. Then around 9 I can sneak in a small snack. I wonder why it peaks around dinner. I've tried eating lunch late having more snacks in the day and nothing works I just can't eat dinner.

Ladies, one thing I do at night, is go to sleep with a Tums in my mouth.  I hate Tums, but I get the peppermint ones and just put it on the side of my mouth.  Once I am still for a little while and have the Tums in my mouth, it allows me to go to sleep.  Now first thing in the morning is another story......But you might want to try that at night.  They will also help with heartburn if you are experiencing that already.  Plus, Tums are a great source of calcium, which of course, is very good for both you and your baby :)

I did begin to feel a bit better some days back. but i feel v weak in the morning, n nausea.
throughout the day is ok ok...am not as hungry as i was earlier...i was hoggin like a pig.
But just like Nicmom...as soon as its 5pm, thatz it! I start feeling nausea and am hungry but cannot eat. Dinner is a BIG no-no. If i eat..thatz it..cant sleep at all. Its more like evening sickness. I look dead and sick and my husband hates it. he keeps on saying, try and feel energetic, u r not sick just pregnant! big deal..wish men also would get pregnant.

Truly i haven been able to "enjoy" pregnacy, each day is a fight, as though im gettin sicker. Do u galz also feel like this?

I only actually experienced bad morning sickness for about 2.5 wks, probably about 3 wks ago that ended. I have only vomitted once since then, it was random as red bananas. I still can't eat real supper, either because whatever we have repulses me, or I just feel nauseous. I'm hoping that soon that'll pass so that I can go back to eating what I like to eat for supper.. lately I've had to sub with lunch and breakfast foods. Which was okay at first, but it's getting old. I miss normal supper :(

I have been incredibly moody though. I go from being GIDDY to wanting to just cry my eyes out.

I am not out of the woods yet for it was only last week that i started experiencing such, i have notice that i am able to relax during the day now, but when 5 o'clock reaches mg!!!! that's it whole night even to settle in bed is a war. i thank GOD though that i don't throw up. Can wait to pass this stage, it is just that every week there is a new unwanted feelings.

I haven't needed to take my Zofran at it's schedualled time in about three days unless I start to feel nausas and in which case I tend to take then.  It's usually at night and I'm not sure why, so I try and eat as much as I can during the day so I wont be as hungry at night which wont make me so nausas.  Sometimes it works, others... not to so well.  Any who... Congrats to everyone because we are defintally almost there!!!  Hang in there, it can only get better...

Mine is still hanging on for dear life.  But I don't usually feel better until I am about a week or 2 into the first trimester.  So, I guess I still have about 3 weeks to go or so :(

Amen on the second trimester! I really have noticed some big changes just over the last two weeks. It's giving me hope that things are only going to get better.

I have been sick a while to. I was having dry heaves the whole time, then a week ago i actually vomitted, but that was the only time. I was sick all day. The last week i have been feeling better, the nausea comes and go, but its not like how it was ALL DAY. My tummy still feel queesy at times. I am noticing my food is not digesting( mainly my dinner) so i am basicly sitting up sleeping in bed at night bcuz it feels like(gastric reflux). I started off eating small meals then went to the basic 3 meals with snacks inbetween. But i think i need to go back to the small meals so that at dinner time im not so hungry and hopefuly the food digest.  Im praying that we are getting better bcuz we are reaching the 2nd trimester:)
