Ovarian Cyst while Preggers?

So I went to the doctor to day for my regualarly schedualled apointment... And everything with my baby is looking good, he/she has a strong hearbeat, 2 legs/feet, 2 arms/hands, a torso, and a head.  Nothing to worry about there, however, they also found a cyst on my left overy about the size of my uterus now.  My doctor said that it's nothing to worry about, but I can't seem to stop worrying, that it why I am posting this.  He thinks that my egg came from that side and that's why ther cyst fromed, also he thinks that the swelling will go down with time.  So I was wondering if anyone else has experanced this durring pregnancy and if so what happend.  Also I have no pain, and haven't had any pain in that regon on my body and the doc says to call if I start having pain... so I thought that was odd as well.  Any who let me know what you think!

Also on a side note, going into this apointment today I knew something was wrong with me or my baby.  And look wat happend.  Any who maybe I have some weird sences or something, but I thought it was weird.

I have a cyst too. I have an appt tomorrow with my OB so I'll find out more if it has grown. I will keep you ladies posted.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, my OB said the same thing that it will disappear on its own....

I have a big cyst also. The tech said it's bigger than usual, but nothing that they would be worried about. My ob said it's something they will keep an eye on and chances are it will go away sometime before 20 weeks. I get pain on my side from time to time mostly from sudden movements or lying in a particular position. Nothing serious.

You know what freaked me out is when I had a small cyst once and it burst I fainted. So is it possible for a huge cyst to burst?? My dr said no, but I keep thinking that I'll be driving the car or something and it will pop. That;s just my kind of self induced panic.

I watched a Deliver Me yesterday where they removed a HUGE cyst from a woman who was like 28 weeks pregnant so worst case scenario they can take them out. It's all laporscopic.

I can't exactly relate to what you're going through.  But I am sure the dr. would have told you if this could cause harm to baby.

What I was going to suggest is that maybe you could post this same question over on the pregnancy forum or maybe even on the fertility forum.  The fertility forum is usually packed full of people who might can relate.  They are so helpful ~ I love that place!

I have, but it was a cyst specifically caused by the pregnancy/progesterone.  The type of cyst I had goes away after delivery.

I would just trust your doctor and what he is saying.  I am sure that since he knows it's there, he will keep an eye on it and monitor it.  So, try, try, try not to worry about it.  If your doc says not to, then I wouldn't.  As long as you like and trust your doc, it should be fine.

I will keep you in my prayers.........
