Sorry if it's TMI- Pink discharge?

Last night I had contractions all night that kept me up and now today I've had pink discharge. About an hour ago there was a big sized clump of pink tinged mucus. It was gross. Anyhow the contractions have been under control today, but I do notice that I'm not having BH I'm having stop walking and wince your face ouch contractions. I'm only have like 3 an hour so I haven't been worried, but with the discharge I figured I better call the OB.

So still waiting for word from them.

I'm going to call them and find out if they still want me to go in today. I had contractions again last night, but no more spotting. The only real change I've noticed is that now when I have a contraction I get the pressure feeling in my pelvic region. When I sit down I'm not feeling her head yet so I know she hasn't really come down too far. I think this is just my body getting ready baby. I'm still prediciting a mid August delivery.

Sounds like you need to really take it easy!  Better to be overly cautious at this stage....we are so close but not that close!  Let us know what your doc says.  All the best!

Sounds like your mucous plug. Hopefully nothing will happen soon!! Our sept. babies are being so stubborn. Don't they know they need to bake just a little bit longer?? I know we are eager to meet them, but not just yet. =) Let us know what the doc says tomorrow.

The nurse just called me back a few minutes ago. She said as long as the contractions are 3 or less in an hour than I should be okay until tomorrow. The dr suspects that because of all the strong contractions I had last night the spotting may be caused by blood vessels on my cervix breaking. She said if the spotting doesn't get worse (and it hasn't) and the contractions don't get worse then I can just see them tomorrow.

I have lots of pressure today, but I think again that might be from all the activity last night. I'm staying off my feet for the rest of the night and taking it easy. I'll be keeping a close eye on things.

It did make me nervous since that was the last thing we heard from momofboys. She wasn't having contractions either. Anyhow I'll update tomorrow after I go see the dr.

That's the same reason I ended up in L&D for 6 hours yesterday. :( I think maybe you should call the nurse line at the hospital. Good Luck!

Oh Nicmom, i hope you hear from them.  We cant be having no domino affect in the forum, we dont need no more pre term labors.  Im praying all is ok and there is nothing to worry about.  Try to rest and not stress(i no easier said than done)

Have you thought about going to the ER

Remember 35momof had some slight contractions and mucus and WoW the babies were even, im still waiting on her story on what determined the final decision that led to her delivery.

Its always better safe than sorry, if u need to go to er just to ease your mind i say go, keep us posted.  How rude of them not to call you back.  Im an A**, when i dont get a call back in 20 min i call right back and ask them why someone has not called me back and i need to talk to someone soon.  Sorry you are going threw this.

They never even called and now it's quarter to 5 so I guess I won't be hearing from them today.
